Position Vacant For A Content and Communications Specialist At Fernwood Fitness | VIC
For over 33 years, Fernwood Fitness has been empowering Australian women to shine by providing them with all the support, expertise and encouragement they need to achieve their health and fitness goals – not only in our premium health clubs, but also across various digital, print and social media touchpoints.
We are looking for an experienced communications and content specialist with a passion for health and fitness to play a key role in developing and executing this content strategy. You will produce high-quality content for a range of digital and print projects including our website, email campaigns, blog, eBooks, in-club collateral and local marketing initiatives for our franchisee network.
Working with the marketing team, you will be responsible for maintaining the Fernwood tone and voice as well as editorial quality control on all external content. You will generate innovative, multi-channel editorial activity, press releases and actively seek media opportunity for your content and manage the content calendar across all Fernwood channels. You will also be required to write, edit and proofread material from other areas of the business, such as speeches, presentations and internal documents.
Ideal candidate:
- Tertiary qualified in communications, journalism, public relations or marketing
- Experience in multi-channel content creation and digital publishing
- Strong ability to create content that meets commercial objectives such as lead generation and brand awareness
- Exceptional attention to detail
- Experience in supervising voice, house style and editorial quality
- Ability to tailor content to different audiences and stakeholder groups
- Passion for staying on top of the latest trends in the health and fitness industry
- PR experience
