Personal Training Business Communication Tip: Being ‘Old Fashioned’
Being old fashioned isn’t always a bad thing. Yes its essential to have an Online presence and be aware of digital marketing trends.
BUT! There’s an exception to the rule and Ive stolen this line straight from Microsoft because they say it perfectly:
“Develop an electronic mailing list and send old-fashioned letters.”
Yup – that’s it! Everyone does e-newsletters these days, and they are great but, if you really want to stand out from the crowd, then occasionally send out a hand-written, personalised card or note to your customers or prospects.
Just make sure the letter is relevant and interesting to them!
You could include some latest research, trends or even an offer for your customer – or for them to pass onto a friend (think referrals!) Its that simple. So when you’re planning your next quarter activities – make sure ‘old-fashioned letter’ is up there on the ‘To-do’ list.
