As you know #JTInTheRaw is my weekly shows where I chew the thin on business.Today I am launching my 2018 initiative which is a 2 week challenge.
This year I will challenge you to starting a new habit to help you:
- Lead your team better;
- To improve your time management, so that you can squeeze in a workout or a walk or some other activity;
- Improve your personal happiness, healthy and productivity.
Your challenge that starts today is simple:
- Plan your day either as the last task before you go home.
- Prioritise your plan with time allocated and blocked into your diary.
- Challenge yourself to stick with this schedule the next day.
If you are leading a team, then why not share this challenge with them – feel free to share the video and the challenge. Here is what I would do:
- I’d share the video and ask your team to opt in to the challenge.
- Then touch base every day with your individual team members on how they are going with the habit – allowing you coach them individually; and
- Once a week, bring your team together and have them share what they have struggled with, so you can collaborate for the best solution; and any successes they have found.

This challenge is not designed to make life more difficult for you – although it may feel like that in the first few days. It is designed to help you feel more in control of your days, thus reducing stress and improving your productivity.
