    About the Role: Personal Trainer Manager | Head Coach
    One Playground has a one-team mentality. Our Head Coaches embody our values and lead our growing teams of coaches. This pivotal role focuses on achieving outstanding results by empowering and developing our talented individuals while effectively managing the coaching department, club performance, and member experience.
    This position requires a determined individual who thrives in a fast-paced environment.
    One Playground Head Coach responsibilities encompass four critical areas of success:
    People Management:
    * Foster the growth and development of your team through training one-to-one coaching, ensuring their personal satisfaction and long-term career progression.
    Experience Management:
    * Maintain a world-class facility and experience. Effectively communicate with coaches and implement One Playground goals and values.
    Performance Management:
    * Drive overall business success by analysing data, planning, and setting goals based on performance.
    Leadership Development:
    * Recognise and develop leadership opportunities for all coaches.
    About You
    To excel in this role, you have a genuine passion for cultivating the growth of individuals, achieving ambitious targets, and fostering a culture of exceeding expectations.

    More About You
    Experience:                                
    * You have 3-5 years of experience as a high-performance coach, and you find fulfilment in leading a team that wants to get better every day.
    * You communicate effectively and have excellent written and verbal communication skills.
    * You’re someone who can talk to anyone.
    Desired attributes:
    * You’re an established expert within the industry; you’ve earned your stripes and can share stories to inspire others.
    * At the same time, you’re humble and demonstrate humility when you don’t have all the answers.
    * Alongside being a great human with excellent technical ability in coaching, you take pride in your service and client experience standards.
    * Problem-solving comes naturally to you. When a task needs doing, you lead from the front, get your hands dirty and set the standard for others.
    * Management experience outside of the fitness industry

    What’s the Role? 
    As our Communications Manager, you won’t just write; you’ll inspire action across all channels and mediums in this multifaceted role. You’ll lead the charge in spreading the One Playground message of health and wellness, inspiration, and community engagement.
    Your Responsibilities:
    Communications Strategy: Develop and execute high-impact content and communication strategies that leave a lasting mark on our community.
    Inspiring Content: Create content that’s more than words, its purpose-driven and engaging, entertaining and educational. Whether it be the written word, or a visual cue our communications are there to inspire and engage, showcasing the essence of One Playground.
    Public Relations Partner: Forge partnerships with media, brand partners, celebrities and influencers to amplify our message, via aligned brands and key opinion leaders.
    Event Execution: Promote our events and classes to drive participation and community involvement, both with internal and external partners.
    Member Engagement: Craft compelling content, social media stories, and newsletters that ignite our members’ spirits and fuel their journeys, strengthening the bonds of our community.
    Internal Engagement: Keep our team motivated, informed, and aligned with our mission. Empower them to be champions too, fostering a culture of growth and excellence. You will also be the calm in the storm, handling any challenges that arise with composure.
    Brand Guardian: Ensure our brand standards and tone of voice remain consistent across all communication platforms.
    Team Collaboration: Collaborate seamlessly with our marketing, design, and operations teams to create a winning strategy.
    What’s in Your Toolkit:
    A degree in Communications, Marketing, or a related field. A track record of successful communications and content strategies Exceptional written and verbal communication skillsProficiency in social media, an essential tool in the One Playground arsenal.

    AUSactive appoints One Playground founder Justin Ashley to new Career Ambassador role

    The next generation of health and fitness industry professionals, innovators, and business owners will have access to invaluable leadership and mentoring resources with the appointment of One Playground Founder  and CEO Justin Ashley as the first AUSactive Career Ambassador.

    The newly created AUSactive Career Ambassador position will support the student membership network  and provide education, guidance and networking opportunities. Alongside raising awareness about the  critical role, AUSactive plays in the industry.

    Justin Ashley said he was thrilled to be appointed the inaugural Career Ambassador. He hopes his story of  high school misfit to Australian Young Entrepreneur of the Year will inspire a new wave of industry talent.

    “This role is an incredible opportunity to lead and inspire the next generation of health and fitness  professionals. My aim in the role is to encourage people of any age to do what they love. I want to see  people have meaningful, viable and long-term careers in the fitness industry,” Mr Ashley said.

    “Following my passion after school despite not being made for a “traditional” classroom is the best choice I  could have made. The fitness industry has given me so much. I am so grateful to be in a position where I  can help others get involved and thrive. There’s no better industry, as far as I’m concerned; our job is  literally to change people’s lives.”

    In addition to working with students, Mr Ashley will also work with business members to help them  improve career path opportunities within their businesses.

    AUSactive CEO Barrie Elvish said the new role was focused on strengthening the connections with student  members by providing career insights to inspire the next generation of fitness professionals.

    “The Career Ambassador is the authoritative voice of the AUSactive student membership community  dedicated to providing education and advancing careers within our sector,” Mr Elvish said.

    “We are thrilled to have Justin Ashley onboard as our first Ambassador, his ability to connect with people  and inspire them through his own experiences is invaluable.”
