Tip #17 What To Avoid On Your Facebook Posts
More often than not click baiting on Facebook is a disaster waiting to happen.
Clickbaiting intentionally over-promises or misrepresents in order to pull users to a website. It attracts the attention of users with a snappy, sensationalist headline — such as “you won’t believe this”, or “you’ll never guess what happened next” — but then fails to deliver.
On your Facebook posts avoid:
- Shocking
- Amazing
- Then he/she/they found out
- What they saw
- Brought him/her to tears
- Look inside
- Going viral
- Never expected
- Incredible
- The reason why
- Watch the reaction
- What’s happening
- Then he/she/they realizes
- When he/she/they saw
- Can’t stop laughing
- I had no idea
- (PROFESSION HERE) hate her/him
- She/he noticed something
- Here’s why
- OMG
- LMAO
- CRAZY
- Unbelievable
- Hilarious
- Whoa
- WOW
It is also advised that you avoid CAPITALIZING one word and don’t use exclamation (!!!!) points.
