Tip #5 Where Are You Sending Your Facebook Fans On A Click
There are so many goals of posting a link on Facebook and one such goal should be to take your Facebook fans to your website. There are numerous reasons to do this but primarily to allow you to retarget them with the Facebook pixel – another topic!
Your fans will learn quickly whether you post quality or rubbish. So while what and when you post is critical for engagement, so to is where you send them. It must also be quality to maintain consistency and integrity with your fans.
Having high quality content on your website is important for so many reasons. For Facebook users clicking through they want to spend less than 10 minutes reading your blog post.
According to BuzzSumo, Facebook users are more likely to click through to posts with between 1000 and 2000 words. Articles between 2000 and 3000 followed very closely behind. But posts over 3000 words performed a little worse with posts under 1000 words performing the worst.
You will develop a loyal following if you maintain this formula.
