Being a part of the REX Roundtable has been an invaluable experience, both professionally and personally. Our tight-knit
group of advisors has evolved into a trusted network of peers who offer diverse and thought-provoking perspectives and unwavering support.
Our 2 1/2 day meetings have been a cornerstone of my growth and learnings over the years. There’s a commitment to show-up, in person with a willingness to contribute and learn which I deeply value. The resulting recharge I feel after each meeting, along with the actionable steps post-meeting have helped keep me focused on what’s most important for our business.
The added benefit of being part of REX is the frequent exposure to learning opportunities outside the fitness industry, from leadership courses to best practices from other industries. I don’t think this is common practice with roundtable groups, regardless, fortunate to be able to benefit from these events.
Being vulnerable is a key ingredient of getting the most out of a roundtable. I’m thankful for the structure of our meetings that allow this trait to thrive. It’s created deep, honest, meaningful discussions that have broadened my perspective, and equipped me in a variety of ways.
Engaging with those from various verticals within the industry has further challenged and enriched my thinking. The group’s ability to expose blind spots and push me outside my comfort zone has been so worthwhile and appreciated.
Consequently, it always seems there’s some justification that always seems to come up to not take 3-4 days away from our business. However, just like the sense of accomplishment and fulfillment one gets after a workout, there’s never been a time that I’ve regretted making the commitment to show up. Truly thankful to be a part of our REX roundtable group.
