Your behaviour will be similar to people whom you like, trust and are close to!
In fact a study in Japan found young girls were 32 times more likely to stick with an exercise program If they were with a friend.
When members reach a goal, most will then either drop out or self sabotage return to where they start. If they hit their goal, publicly acknowledge and then graduate them to a new goal that is bigger than themselves.
McGonigal left with five challenges for the fitness industry.
