2016 Fitness Australia Board Nominee: Michael Jordan
I am nominating to serve a second term on the board, to finish what I have started. I would love your support and vote.
Having served 2 years, I hope to continue to work hard with Fitness Australia in pursuit of the ongoing mission to grow the industry and create a lasting positive impact on the health of our country.
As an association our most immediate focus must be to create clear value and relevant support to all of our members including REPs, independent operators, educators, suppliers and group businesses.
We need to continue to raise the bar with our professional development, improved career pathways, fitness business resources, research and education and smart opportunities that will help each group grow and thrive.
We must also continue to regulate and guide our industry towards delivering best practices so we can deliver the best outcomes for our consumers and prove our value as the primary industry for preventative health management.
By doing so we can collaborate and build partnerships with allied health providers, health funds and the health sector from a position of strength and respect with the 5 million plus Australian’s we represent and affect.
Finally, and most importantly we must aim to bring our highly diverse industry together, so we can work together, raise the bar together and ultimately achieve more together. Our impact as an association relies on our ability to do this.
As an independent owner operator and a representative of a fitness company that works and communicates with all varieties of fitness businesses, I know my broad experience, network and passion for the industry will help me serve the industry well.
