Legendary professional joins HQH Fitness’s growing team
Industry master, Xenophon (Xen) Angelides has joined HQH Fitness’s Australian team to take up the role of Total Gym National Sales Manager. Xen is a stalwart of the fitness industry boasting 36 years of experience in club operations, personal training, programming and membership, sales and consulting.
Greg Doherty, HQH Fitness’s, CEO and Managing Director is pleased to welcome Xen to the Total Gym team.
“Xen’s commitment to the health and fitness industry has been demonstrated throughout his 36 year career. He is a passionate, highly experienced sales professional with much to offer Total Gym in Australia, and we are delighted he has joined our team,” said Greg.
Xen’s journey into fitness began in 1981 when he took up body-building and martial arts. This paved the way for him to pursue a career in fitness, Xen also has a degree in a Sport Science and majored in Exercise physiology and rehabilitation. Starting his career managing fitness centres, Xen has consulted to global fitness equipment corporations, whilst also developing sales, marketing, communication and retention strategies that have helped plan and launch over three hundred health clubs throughout the Asia Pacific region. Xen’s passion for competition and achievement in sport has also earned him an impressive track record in Australian national basketball and bodybuilding.
He was also recognised as the founder and pioneer of personal training in Malaysia in the 1990’s, renowned for training high profile politicians, members of the royal family, businessmen and women. Xen has also honed his skills as an international speaker, educator and wellness expert, speaking at conventions such as FILEX and IHRSA.

Justin is the Managing Director of Active Management, which he began January 2004. He offers coaching to businesses worldwide in everything from start up and design to marketing and sales systems. Justin also facilitates four Australian and New Zealand ‘fitness industry roundtables’ events, which allows him to see a huge cross section of business models.
