LES MILLS workouts - such as BODYPUMP ®, BODYCOMBAT ® and RPM ® – are licensed by over 21,000 clubs in over 100 countries, with 130,000+ accredited Instructors delivering group workouts to more than 6 million people per week.
Based in Canberra (ACT), this full-time role as the Marketing Communications Lead is responsible for overseeing the creation, quality and consistency of all communication materials and ensuring that all marketing communications align with the company’s brand and strategic goals.
Role Overview:
As the Marketing & Communications Lead, you’ll oversee the creation, quality, and consistency of all communication materials, ensuring they align with our brand and strategic goals. You are able to thrive under pressure, seamlessly switching from big-picture campaign planning to urgent communications and managing internal communications and partner event deliverables with ease.
As the Marketing Communications Lead, your key accountabilities include:
- Content Strategy: Develop and implement a comprehensive content strategy targeting business-to-business (B2B) and business-to-instructor (B2I) audiences.
- Campaign Management: Plan, execute, and manage marketing communication campaigns to support product launches, events, and other initiatives.
- Quality Control: Review and approve all marketing materials to ensure accuracy and adherence to brand standards.
- Team Collaboration: Guide and support the marketing team, fostering a collaborative environment with other departments.
- Public Relations: Manage PR activities and develop relationships with media outlets and industry influencers.
- Reporting and Analysis: Track and report on the effectiveness of marketing communications, providing insights for improvement.

Your Qualifications:
- Minimum 5 years of relevant marketing experience
- BS/BA in Marketing or a related field of study
- Excellent writing and communication skills
- Expert at crafting clear and compelling headlines, visuals, and messaging that boost brand and business success
- Minimum 1 year of experience in leading a team
- Experience in the fitness industry and knowledge of Les Mills products is desirable
- Experience in and/or understanding of the Les Mills system and the benefits of Les Mills programs will also be highly regarded.
