Curves and Myzone team up to help women around the world get healthier and stronger
Myzone is excited to announce a partnership with Curves NA, Inc and Oceania as its exclusive heart rate monitoring system for Curves clubs and MyCurves On Demand at-home members.
Offering rewarded effort for members of the Curves community, Myzone is set to engage more members in and out of clubs through simple but effective motivation and social essentials. This means continuing to expand the supportive, welcoming and safe environment that Curves has created for over three decades further into the digital space.
“Understanding the direction of the Curves business model and hearing the team’s passion to connect with their members makes Myzone a perfect fit for their brand,” explains Terry Woods, Myzone VP of Sales Americas. “Now, with the introduction of the MZ-Switch, Curves members can decide to wear their heart rate monitor on their wrist, arm or chest to increase the comfort of heart rate collection while training.”
This plug-and-play fitness tracking system provides constant activity feedback so that gym owners and coaches can help their members get better results, both inside and outside the club. Rollout of the first phase has already begun, with installations taking place in over 30 facilities around the US, Canada, Australia, and New Zealand.
“Since inception, Curves has prompted a heart rate check of their members’ workout every seven minutes. We know how important it is to know where the member is with their heart rate during their Curves workout. With Myzone’s introduction of the MZ-Switch wearable fitness tracker, we knew it was the right time to introduce this technology into the Curves workout in the club and at home,” added Krishea Holloway, President of Curves.
“As we celebrate our 30th year in business in 2022, we are excited to launch this partnership with Myzone. As we have seen over the last two years it’s now more important than ever to have multiple connection points with members! We can help empower our members with more information, have more FUN, and connect outside of the club during their at-home workout, MyCurves On Demand! Our members are embracing the new technology and joining the gamification that it now brings to the Curves Community.”
