Great show JT. Here’s some thoughts on getting new members to spend more.
    1. Have premium offerings that your sales process shows to every prospect without pre-judgement.
    2. If their primary goal is fitness, then you could offer three fitness enhancement plans at 3 price points: 1. Membership with 2 PT sessions per week. 2. Membership with 2 team training sessions per week, 3. Membership.
The secret is that you have to have an offering that is so pricey that you and your people are super uncomfortable even showing it to people.
    3. If their primary goal is weight loss, have a weight loss coaching program (I know a great one) at a premium price. Most PTs can earn more per hour coaching weight loss than fitness.
    4. You won’t improve what you don’t measure. If your bookkeeping system’s COA (Chart of Accounts) does not have seperate revenue lines for programming like weight loss, to show up on your monthly profit and loss statement, then you’re not really serious (yet) about getting new members to spend more.

PS Members who pay more (for extra programs and services) stay more, which helps your 3rd challenge of getting current customers to buy more often (keep their membership longer).
